Margaret earned her stripes working and merchandising the retail floors of San Francisco’s top-notch boutiques and as a consultant with a multitude of premiere retail stores throughout the Bay Area.  

With an extensive network of connections in the fashion, beauty and retail industries, Margaret has the ability to help you reach your sartorial goals. Margaret is known as a trendsetter and expert in her field. She has a relaxed working style and yet keen ability to help her clients understand exactly what they want and how transform that into reality.

Margaret lives in San Francisco with her son (Henry), dog (Dexter) and horse (Pumpkin). She is a California native born in Mill Valley.

Why Karl Said So?

“Many fashion icons and designers inspire me because of their creative talents as world-renowned artists, influencers and photographers. Often, they are controversial and infamous, in addition to their fame. Most notably, I draw inspiration from the passion and drive of Tom Ford, Phoebe Philo, Rei Kawakubo, and Karl Lagerfeld. “Karl” holds a special place in my heart because it is also the name of the San Francisco marine layer (yes, we locals love our unique humor and cool weather). Thus, Karl Said So was born.”
